In this Issue
SOJOURN: Journal of Social Issues in Southeast Asia is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the study of social and cultural issues in Southeast Asia. Empirical and theoretical research articles are published with a view to promoting and disseminating scholarship in and on the region. Areas of special concern are ethnicity, religion, urbanization, migration, and development. SOJOURN is published thrice a year, in March, July and November. The journal includes articles, research notes and comments, notices on conferences, workshops and seminars, and book reviews, as well as occasional English translations of pivotal research published in Southeast Asian languages. SOJOURN is published twice a year, in April and October.
